Today GVC Holdings announced that new Head of its Bingo department has been appointed. According to the company’s official statement, Adele Lawton is to join the structure of the Isle of Man-based online gambling operator at the newly-created position of Group Head of Bingo operations.
The Chief Executive Officer of GVC Holdings Kenneth Alexander commented on the appointment, saying that it reflected the company’s strategy to make the best team by attracting only the most experienced and hard-working people in the industry. According to him, the considerable experience of Mrs. Lawton has in the sphere would be beneficial for increasing the growth ambitions of the company.
GVC’s Chief Executive Officer shared his belief that the presence of Adele Lawton on top of the Bingo division would have a positive impact on the company’s bingo brands, including their most successful brand – Foxy Bingo.
Mrs. Lawton has marketing experience of more than twenty years in the sphere of the bingo industry, no matter if it comes to retail or web-based operations. She has had played an important part at several popular brand and business-to-business operators such as Gala, Bet365, Playtech, Skybet and Gamesys. Before joining GVC Holdings’ Bingo division, Mrs. Lawton has been occupying the position of an Operating Director Europe at Betable for more than two years.
After she occupies her new role at the gaming company, Adele Lawton will bear responsibility for the so-called Cashcade operations. The decision of making Mrs. Lawton Head of the Bingo department is to take immediate effect. She will report directly to the company’s Chief Executive Officer Kenneth Alexander.
In addition, apart from the fact that an experienced person is to head the division, the latest appointment is expected to provide the Group Head of partypoker, Cashcade at GVC Holdings Tom Waters with the chance to stay more focused on the poker operations of the company.
Up to date, GVC Holdings is one of the major online gaming operators both in business-to-business and business-to-consumer markets. Currently, the company has a total of four product divisions, including casino, sports betting, poker and bingo featuring several brands.
The company has been recently focused on expanding its reach on the market in order to consolidate its presence. On February 1st it acquired the digital entertainment company bwin as part of this strategy and remains focused on this policy.
