GPEB Registers NYX Gaming Group as Class B Supplier in British Columbia

The leading digital gaming supplier NYX Gaming Group, which currently operates in a number of countries in Europe, North America, Asia and Australia, revealed that the British Columbia regulator’s Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch (GPEB) has registered it as a Class B Supplier.

Up to date, the GPEB is responsible for the gaming regulation in British Columbia. The regulatory watchdog is aimed at ensuring the integrity of the companies, people and equipment that operate in the gaming industry of the region. It is also focused on making sure that all operators and individuals run their activities in compliance with all legislation policies that have been established under the Gaming Control Act of British Columbia.

The above-mentioned responsibilities also include carrying out a regulatory supervision of the British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC), as well as on the horse racing industry of the region and all licensed gaming events that take place on the territory of British Columbia.

The Chief Executive Officer of NYX Gaming Group Matt Davey said that the partnerships of the company, and especially the ones involving the integration work of OpenBet division, had resulted in finally bringing the digital gaming supplier’s portfolio in British Columbia.

The company’s boss said that the entire team of the supplier was very proud with the fact the operator had been granted the unconditional registration in the territory, especially considering the fact that it had always been devoted to generating strong growth in global regulated markets.

The registration has been carried out without any conditions applied. It will allow the end-to-end provider to bring its high-end content into effective action on the territory of British Columbia for the first time since the company has started operating in the regulated market.

The sportsbook technology unit of NYX Gaming Group – OpenBet – was officially certified in Canada four years ago. Since then, the subsidiary has joined forces with a number of companies and organisations. Currently, the OpenBet unit of NYX has ongoing partnerships with Loto-Québec, BCLC and the Atlantic Lottery Corporation.

NYX Gaming Group, headquartered in the US, currently operates in a number of countries around the world. Apart from its offices in North America, the digital gaming content provider also runs its operations on the territory of Europe, Asia and Australia. The presence of the company in the UK is particularly large, considering the fact that it has three offices located in the country to date.
