Playtech Expands Live Casino Portfolio with Prestige Baccarat

As reported by Casino Guardian earlier in November, the Isle of Man-based Playtech has been recently focused on expanding its live casino portfolio with new game additions. The leading gaming content and software services supplier has already released a live HTML5 roulette product as part of this strategy and it seems that it has absolutely no intention of stopping.

The company launched a new baccarat game as part of its Prestige games series. This is the second title added to the supplier’s new range after its Prestige HTML5 Roulette game went live a fortnight ago. The new addition to the live game portfolio of Playtech will provide players with a gameplay of excellent quality. In addition, five different camera angles will be available in order to make the gaming experience more realistic and dynamic.

According to the Chief Operating Officer of Playtech Shimon Akad, the new baccarat game launch as part of the Prestige range came to mark the beginning of something entirely different for the company. Mr. Akad also added that the new product range of the gaming software supplier would take live casino games to a whole new level in regards to performance, product capability and customisation.

Playtech revealed that what was known as a traditional game of baccarat has now experienced a makeover, offering its customers different viewing angles, winning hands replays, and various other features. The environment from which the games are streamed has been re-designed and now features a special baccarat table as well as the Chinese symbol for luck.

Players who choose to play the new live version of Prestige baccarat will also be provided with the chance to play the game in landscape mode on their mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones. This feature has been first presented with the launch of Playtech’s HTML5 roulette product a few weeks ago.

Kevin Kilminster, head of innovation at the live dealer division of Playtech, commented on the newly-released baccarat product, saying that the company had invested a lot of efforts and money in research, development and working with licensees in order to offer a product that was undoubtedly the best live baccarat title provided on the market. He revealed that both “classic squeeze” and “squeeze logic” variations were included in the newly-released live baccarat game.

Mr. Kilminster shared that Playtech’s new addition to live Prestige range had received a warm welcome and positive feedback so far.
