Yggdrasil Signs Partnership Agreement with GIG

Today the web-based and mobile casino operator Yggdrasil Gaming, which currently operates as a subsidiary of the Swedish gaming company Cherry Ab, revealed that it has reached a partnership agreement with the Maltese iGaming services provider Gaming Innovation Group (GIG). Under the terms of the deal, Yggdrasil Gaming is to provide its entire portfolio of award-winning video slots to GIG.

The Chief Executive Officer of Yggdrasil Gaming Fredrik Elmqvist shared that everyone at the company’s team wa excited to be joining forces with Gaming Innovation Group. He also described the Malta-based company as one of the fastest growing operators on the Scandinavian market thanks to their latest acquisition deal to purchase Betit. That had made the partnership agreement with GIG greatly beneficial.

On the other hand, Mr. Elmqvist explained that the last few games releases carried out by Yggdrasil over the last few months, had been a great step for the company. The online and mobile casino gaming operator’s boss also said that the company remained focused on providing the best gaming content on the market to their partners.

Mr. Elmqvist is, in fact, right. The company which also holds operations in the UK under a license issued by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) has recently closed a number of partnership agreements and has rolled out several new content additions as part of its strategy to consolidate its positions on global regulated markets. Only a few days ago, Yggdrasil revealed it has inked a collaboration deal with the platform and content supplier Tain.

Earlier this year, it has signed another partnership deal with the mobile casino company Casumo, and has been issued an operating license for the Romanian gambling market. In September and October 2016 Yggdrasil has been primarily focused on new games releases to boost its high-quality portfolio of gaming solutions. Currently, the company offers a gaming solutions suite of popular and qualitative casino, progressive jackpots and online slots games.

Under the terms of its agreement with Gaming Innovation Group, Yggdrasil is to roll out its gaming portfolio across the business-to-consumes websites powered by GIG. The company’s flagship web-based casino and sportsbook websites Guts.com and Rizk.com will also be included in the deal’s scope. But that is not all. Gaming Innovation Group will be provided with access to BOOST – Yggdrasil’s in-game promotional tools collection and its features, as well as to the latest features added in it. The social sharing tool of the operator – BRAG – will also be accessed by GIG.

The partnership agreement between the two companies was also confirmed by the Chief Executive Officer of GIG Robin Reed. He revealed that the company’s GamingCloud had been aimed at making stable interconnections with the online gaming industry as a whole. According to him, that partnership deal took GIG one step further in this enterprise, especially considering the fact that the span and quality of the games included in the Yggdrasil’s portfolio.
