IGT Signs Two Partnership Agreements to Enhance Market Presence

International Game Technology Plc revealed that its affiliate IGT Global Solutions Corporation has managed to win a contract with the Lottery Commission of the State of Massachusetts. Under the terms of the agreement, the UK-based operator is to provide the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission with a new central gaming system, as well as with an integrated website and terminal software applications.

The website that is to be offered by IGT is to be used for the purpose of displaying general Lottery information, but also for marketing purpose and of course, for convenience of the users.

The deal was confirmed by the Senior Vice President of IGT, WLA North America Lottery Jay Gendron, who shared that everyone at the company were impatient to be working in collaboration with one of the most successful lotteries on a global scale. Mr. Gendron also expressed his hope that the collaboration would be beneficial for the Massachusetts State Lottery Commission, too, saying that IGT would help it achieve greater efficiency and success.

The relationship between IGT and the Lottery dates back to 1996. Since then, the UK-based company has been providing the lottery terminals and the already existing central gaming system of the Lottery, which has reported massive sales estimated to $5,234 billion over the 2016 fiscal year.

Under the terms of the newly-signed contract, IGT will be engaged with providing not only project management, but also system integration for the entire gaming system conversion of the Lottery. All systems of the Lottery, including the back-office and the central gaming system, will be changed and adapted to the latest solutions provided by IGT.

This, however, is not the only agreement that has been recently inked by the UK-based company. IGT also announced that it has reached an agreement with Station Casinos LLC, under which it is to offer its Advantage casino management systems to Palms Resort Casino. It will also make its Universal Game Adaptor and Service Window solutions and applications accessible for Palms Resort Casino.

The partnership agreement will give Palms Resort Casino the chance to offer the best guest experiences by using various promotions and initiatives through the Service Window marketing tool, bonus schedule and guest communications solutions. The deal once again proves the great value of IGT in the global gaming industry, especially considering the fact that the UK-based operator has joined forces with some of the most successful companies in the market.

The two partnership agreements announced by IGT come at a time when the company has been focused on consolidating its market presence.
