Inspired Gaming Virtual Sports Go Live with Fortuna Entertainment

The British provider of high-quality Virtual Sports, SBG Video Lottery and Mobile Games Inspired Gaming Group announced it has agreed an extension to its partnership deal with Fortuna Entertainment Group, which is currently the biggest betting operator in Central Europe.

The Chief Commercial Officer of Digital Games division at Inspired Gaming Group Steve Rogers explained that it was a great thing for the UK-based company to make this announcement. He shared that under the deal the company would see its Virtual Sports product go live in more regulated markets throughout 2017 thanks to Fortuna’s influence worldwide, and primarily across Europe.

Mr. Rogers said that Inspired Gaming was proud with the fact it run its operations in regulated jurisdictions only, and in his opinion, the passing of Poland’s new gambling legislation provided them with a strategic chance to offer their Virtual Sports products both in brick-and-mortar betting shops and online in a new European market. In addition, according to Mr. Rogers, Rush Football 2 would turn out to be very popular among players there, so he shared he was keen on offering the company’s products to more operators in Poland in 2017.

Thanks to the regulatory changes in the region, Inspired Gaming Group is able to see its Virtual Sports operations go live on the territory of Poland. The company shared in a special press release that it expects its entire portfolio of virtuals products to be available to Polish operators in 2017.

The deal between the UK-based gaming solutions supplier and Fortuna Entertainment Group is now extended for two more years, to 2019. Under the terms of the agreement, Fortuna will bring into effective action the Virtuals Sports content provided by Inspired and offer them to more than 200 retail venues and gaming websites in the country. The agreement also includes Inspired’s newest products, such as Rush Keno and Rush Football 2. The premium Rush Basketball content of Inspired is expected to be offered to Polish operators in 2017.

The Group Chief Sportsbook Officer of Fortuna Game division Michal Hanák commented on the agreement, saying that the team of Fortuna Entertainment Group was very excited with the extension of the already existing contract with UK-based Inspired Gaming. He said that the partnership would make the company the first operator on the territory of Poland that would be able to deliver the premium Virtual Sports content of Inspired.

Mr. Hanák also described the new regulatory rules as a significant step forward for the region and shared his belief that they would allow Fortuna to expand its presence in both retail hubs and online space.
