IGT Extends SYNOT Group’s Partnership Contract for Eight More Years

The gaming company International Game Technology (IGT) officially revealed that it has inked an extension of its partnership contract with SYNOT Group through its subsidiary GTECH Sweden Interactive AB. The extension is for a period of eight years and would ensure that IGT would continue to provide its system software and game content to the interactive video terminals (IVTs) of SYNOT on the territory of the Czech Republic and Slovakia until 2026.

The relationship between the companies through IGT’s subsidiary GTECH dates back to 2004, when the companies first signed a partnership contract.

The Chief Executive Officer of IGT Walter Bugno commented on the deal and described SYNOT Group as one of the key providers of gaming machines in the markets of both Slovakia and the Czech Republic. Mr. Bugno explained that the team of International Game Technology was very pleased with the fact that the company was given the chance to continue to provide above-mentioned markets with its gaming services and machines.

The IGT boss also shared his belief that the partnership contract extension would further consolidate the company’s relationship with SYNOT, and also probably offer IGT various joint opportunities in the future.

Under the terms of the contract extension, International Game Technology is to continue to provide the interactive video terminals of SYNOT with its system software and game content. The company is to also maintain the IVTs and upgrade them with the newest game content. A total of six different game suites which reflect a vast game library are featured by the system software of the IGT, which has made sure it provides gaming operators with a great variety of options to choose from.

What is more, International Game Technology will be engaged with the process of installation and technical and operational support of the IVTs, as well as providing new games content on an annual basis.

The Sales Director of SYNOT Group – Miroslav Valenta Jr. – confirmed of the deal’s extension, saying that the company’s customers enjoyed the content IGT had provided them with very much. He praised the “innovative designs and technology” used by the International Game Technology, saying that was exactly what attracted players.

Mr. Valenta also explained that SYNOT Group would be able to keep its leading positions in both the Czech Republic and Slovakia thanks to the fact that the company was well aware of the customers’ needs and preferences and had long-term experience in both markets. He shared that the operator had reached thousands of players in various locations, but expanding its reach was among its strategic goals, so it welcomed the extended partnership with IGT.
