As Casino Guardian has reported several weeks ago, PokerStars Championship headed to the French Riviera, with the Championship set to kick off at Monte-Carlo Casino on April 25th. The tournament is to be hosted in one of the oldest and most popular gaming venues worldwide.

To date, the Monte-Carlo Casino has hosted a large variety of glorious poker tournaments from the ones sponsored by the PokerStars brand, including the Grand Final of the European Poker Tour (EPT).

That tradition is to be continued over 2017, with the Monte-Carlo casino becoming home of the PokerStars Championship, which is known as one of the most popular poker tournaments on a global scale. The destination is to host the Championship from April 25th to May 5th, with some of the poker’s best players taking part in the events offered.

The largest poker brand in the world has revealed the key dates and event info for the festival, and expects hundreds of players to come to the Monte-Carlo casino and join the PokerStars Championship. A great number of players and PokerStars ambassadors are expected to attend the event, with Daniel Negreanu, Jake Cody, Vanessa Selbst, Liv Boeree and Igor Kurganov being already confirmed.

The festival is to start with the Opening No Limit Hold’em event that is to kick off on April 25th and ends a couple of days later, on April 27th. The buy-in required is estimated to €10,300. Then, on April 26th the players who join the festival will be given the opportunity to join the PokerStars National Championship from April 26th to April 30th. Then, the PokerStars National High Roller is to kick off as a two day event on April 28th offering players to join in return to a buy-in of €2,200.

Undoubtedly, the PokerStars Championship Main Event will be among the most attractive festival events for the players who come to the Monte-Carlo Casino. The Main Event is to start on April 29th and is to end on May 5th, offering a buy-in of €5,300. At the end of April, the Single day NLH event is to kick off, too. The one-day event is to be held on April 30th, with a buy-in of €50,000.

The Monte-Carlo Casino is to host a few other events as part of the PokerStars Championship. The PLO event is to be held on May 1st and May 2nd, featuring a €10,300 buy-in.
