Evolution Gaming, a leading provider of live casino and gaming solutions, revealed it has inked a partnership agreement with the largest gaming operators on the territory in the Netherlands – Nederlandse Loterij. Currently, the latter is the company that runs the Dutch Lottery as well as many other gaming brands in the country.
The Chief Executive Officer of Evolution Gaming Group Martin Carlesund commented on the newly-inked collaboration deal, saying that everyone at the company’s team were very glad they were to join forces with the largest and most reputable gaming operator on the territory of the Netherlands. Mr. Carlesund also highlighted the fact that Nederlandse Loterij had a huge reach across the country, which would undoubtedly be helpful for the future expansion of Evolution Gaming in the Netherlands.
He also shared his confidence that the partnership with Evolution Gaming would also be beneficial for both parties, as it would offer them the opportunity to enhance the wide variety of games available. Mr. Carlesund further explained that signing a deal with a such a client was undoubtedly one of the milestones for both Evolution Gaming and the online gaming industry as well.
The newly-signed partnership agreement once again highlights the strategic goals of Evolution to provide the best online gaming solutions in more regulated markets on a global scale. The company has also been focused to consolidate its presence as a market leader in iGaming, which is currently the fastest growing sector of the gaming industry as a whole.
On the other hand, Nederlandse Loterij is currently the biggest and the most reputable operator in the Netherlands. The company was established in April 2016 as a result of the merger of De Lotto and De Nederlandse Loterij. Currently, the operator offers seven games of chance in its domestic market, and a number of brands, including Krsloten, Lotto, Lucky Day, Toto, Staatsloterij, etc.
Nederlandse Loterij is also known as a great contributor to local society as the operator has been engaged with donating a large portion of its revenues to national sport and charity organisations. A total of 37% of its revenues is donated to such causes, while the remaining 63% is donated to the Dutch national treasury.
The Director of Online & Business development at Nederlandse Loteerij, Bas van de Bunt, commented on the partnership deal with Evolution Gaming, saying that the operator had long been looking forwards to joining forces with a market-leading gaming solutions provider which was willing to deliver its products to customers in re-regulated jurisdictions. He further explained that Evolution Gaming has been considered a reliable partner, especially considering the fact that the company had recently revealed a number of major partnership contracts in new markets across Europe.
At the beginning of April 2017, Evolution Gaming also revealed its first major expansion outside the regulated markets of Europe. The live casino and gaming solutions supplier revealed it was to build a new Live Casino studio in the Metro Vancouver area of British Columbia, expected to be officially launched before the end of 2017. This would be the eighth live casino studio of Evolution Gaming and would come as a result of the supplier’s partnership agreement with British Columbia Lottery Corporation (BCLC).
