The leading provider of high-quality online and mobile gaming solutions, Yggdrasil Gaming, revealed that its slots product suite has been launched in Italy for the first time ever. The release comes after a the slots have been successfully integrated with the Gioco Digitale brand of the Isle of Man-based gaming and online gambling operator GVC Holdings.
Yggdrasil Gaming is expected to officially present its slots games offering to gaming operators in Rome on May 25th.
The Chief Executive Officer of Yggdrasil Gaming, Fredrik Elmqvist, commented on the company’s slots release in Italy, describing the roll-out as a “very special moment” for the company. The company’s boss added that the gambling market of Italy had experienced rapid growth in the last few years, especially in terms of mobile gaming. He also explained that Yggdrasil Gaming currently features one of the best interfaces for mobile games available in the industry, so the company’s team was eager to see what the local customers’ reactions would be.
Moreover, Mr. Elmqvist provided some information regarding the integration, saying that the process had been seamless and had run smoothly. He further explained that the team of Yggdrasil Gaming was working in collaboration with GVC Holdings in order to roll out the company’s games on the bwin.it platform in the near future.
As mentioned above, the online and mobile gaming brand will see its games go live in Italy for the first time. Shortly after that, the launch is expected to be followed by a roll-out with another brand of GVC Holdings – bwin.it.
Up to date, a total of 11 games from the HTML5 titles of Yggdrasil Gaming’s offering have been certified under the regulations of the Italian gaming legislation. Some of them are the blockbusters Vikings Go Wild, Dark Joker Rizes and Nirvana.
What is more, the Italian operations of the Isle of Man-based GVC Holdings will also be granted with exclusive access to the in-game promotional tools of Yggdrasil Gaming, BOOST, used for enhancing the gaming experience of the players with some special tools. GVC Holdings’ customers in Italy will also be able to take advantage of the social sharing tool of Yggdrasil, called BRAG.
The Chief Product Officer of GVC Holdings, Liron Snir, confirmed of the roll-out, saying that everyone at the company were very happy with the fact that GVC Holdings would be the first operator to bring the products of Yggdrasil Gaming to the gaming market of Italy.
Mr. Snir also praised the Yggdrasil team of their professionalism, and said it was a great pleasure to work with them over the process of integration. He added that the GVC Holdings also were impatient to what the performance of the Yggdrasil slots titles would be in the country.
