Finnplay Group Gets UKGC Remote Gambling Software Operating Licence

The open gaming platform supplier Finnplay Group officially revealed that it has been granted with a Remote Gambling Software Operating Licence by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC).

Finnplay Group’s Chief Executive Officer, Martin Prantner, confirmed that the Finland-based company has expanded in the UK market, describing the latter as one of the largest and most-preferred gaming jurisdictions on a global scale. Finnplay’s boss also praised the regulatory standards set in the market, calling them reliable, fair and safe for both operators and players. He also added that the company’s team was very proud they would be able to add the newly-issued license to their pre-existing UK Pool Betting License.

Finnplay has become a respected and reputable iGaming industry player since being officially established back in 2008. Currently, it provides a gaming platform that operates in line with the regulated gambling jurisdictions of a number of countries, including UK, Malta, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Mexico and Curacao.

According to Mr. Prantner, getting a Remote Gambling Software Operating Licence would be a milestone in terms of the company’s strategy of further global expansion and growth. Finnplay Group’s CEO explained that the operator would remain focused on providing its UK customers with all-inclusive gaming product, as well as with a full range of licensed gaming products, including a casino, sports betting and pool betting options.

Up to date, Finnplay holds a number of operating licences, including a Class 1 on 4 License in Malta, a Curacao Gaming Licence, and a total of four UKGC licences – a UK Casino Licence, a Betting Licence, a Pool Betting Licence and a Remote Gambling Software Licence.

Thanks to the newly-issued licence, the Finland-based company would be able to operate in compliance to the legislation and regulatory framework of the UK. Finnplay Group has received its UK operating licence under its white label multi-channel casino and betting solutions brand Viral Interactive Limited. It currently holds a UK Operating Casino License, as well as a betting license.

The first brand to that would be able to fully operate under the newly-issued licence of the UK Gambling Commission is Lucky Casino (www.luckycasino.com). The Remote Gambling Software licence provides the company with various options in a number of directions. The operator is able to provide facilities for casino games and other virtual gaming by remote communications. In addition, the license entitles Finnplay with the chance to provide betting facilities on both real and virtual events by means of remote communication.

In terms of Linked gambling software, the brand would have the chance to manufacture, supply, install and adapt gambling software available for a variety of websites and electronic devices. What is more, the UK Gambling Commission, which is currently the major gaming regulatory watchdog in the country, also allows the afore-mentioned activities to be done by remote means. When pool betting is concerned, Finnplay’s white-label brand would also be given the opportunity to provide pool betting facilities by remote communication means.

For some time now, the company has been primarily focused on expanding its reach among customers from all over the world in order to boost and consolidate its worldwide presence. Currently, it has a massive range over 4,000 casino games provided by some of the largest gaming suppliers and studios on a global scale.
