Playtech BGT Sports’ Software Goes Live with More Coral Retail Tablets

The supplier of omni-channel sports betting technology Playtech BGT Sports (PBS) revealed that it has extended its relationship with the British casino, sports betting and bingo operator Coral. BGT Sports has managed to bring into effective action its proprietary software across over 450 existing betting terminals across the Coral estate.

Thanks to the integration, customers of Coral would be able to get a flawless multi-channel experience. In addition, the proprietary software is aimed to further boost and improve the retail offering of the brand by allowing it to offer a better in-play experience.

The Managing Director of the Playtech BGT Sports’ UK, Ireland and Australia John Pettit said how happy he was to see the project finally completed after a busy first six months for the sports betting division of the gaming software company. Mr. Pettit also shared that the team of Playtech BGT Sports were delighted to have provided Coral with support in order for the brand to expand its self-service estate with the PBT software going live on the above-mentioned terminals.

The Managing Director of the Sports division of Playtech also described the extended partnership as a proof of the great confidence that an operator of such a scale had invested in BGT Sports.

As a result of the deployment, more than 3,000 terminals of the retail stores of Coral are provided with the exclusive software of Playtech BGT Sports. The software has gone live with the customer rewards ”Coral Connect” systems of the casino, sports betting and bingo brand. The Connect customers will also benefit from the offers that are to be provided on SSBTs, and they will be given the chance to efficiently use the live retail bets’ live cash-out across a great variety of devices.

The Retail Commercial Director of Ladbrokes, Richard Lang, has also commented on the roll-out, saying how glad he was to have agreed a contract extension with Playtech BGT Sports. In his opinion, the deal would extend the SSBT footprint of the Coral brand across the country thanks to the fact that more than 450 Connect tablets were introduced as part of the deal.

According to Mr. Lang, the increased offering further enhanced the retail offering of the brand and its multi-channel focus as well. He also shared his belief that the sports betting division of Playtech would deliver the best retail and digital offering available for customers, who would be able to enjoy an improved gaming experience thanks to the roll-out.

Coral is not the first UK bookmaker brand to have joined forces with Playtech and more specifically with its sports betting division. At the beginning of the week, the UK sports betting services provider Betfred explained that it had expanded its retail SSBT integration with the BGT Sports division of the gambling software provider. The company revealed that additional 570 betting terminals would be integrated before the start of the European football season in August 2017.
