NetEnt Reports Another Massive Hall of Gods Jackpot Win of €7.5 Million

The leading provider of online gaming solutions NetEnt revealed that one of the highest-ever jackpots on its Norse mythology-themed Hall of Gods game has dropped. The jackpot is estimated to €7.5 million, as lifetime payouts amount to a little less than €80 million.

As revealed by the company, the Hall of Gods’ jackpot was won by a 47-year-old Norwegian player, who was playing the desktop version of the game. The exact amount of the payment is €7,525,932.97.

The Chief Product Officer of NetEnt Simon Hammon confirmed of the winning, saying that the company’s team was very happy with the fact that one more global jackpot winner emerged. Mr. Hammon also revealed that the jackpot is one of the largest ones ever paid by NetEnt and one of its operator partners. He added that the jackpot had been reset, so the company was looking forward to see the next big win in the Hall of Gods and the rest of its progressive jackpots.

This is not the first massive progressive jackpot paid out by NetEnt, which is currently one of the most successful gaming solutions providers in the world. The company, which is known for its massive global online jackpots, has paid out over €54 million in progressive jackpots over the past year. As a matter of fact, this is the second jackpot of more than €7 million, which has been hit in the past six months, after in December 2016 the Mega Fortune Dreams‘ jackpot of €7,437,199.55 was won by a British player.

The lifetime payout offered by Hall of Gods has surpassed €57 million since 2012, with more than €20 million generated over the last year alone. Of course, Hall of Gods and Mega Fortune Dreams are not the only games featuring pooled jackpots. As a matter of fact, Arabian Nights and Mega Fortune are two other titles offering pooled jackpots, with the Mega Fortune game known for setting a Guinness World Recort for a record-breaking payment on an online slot machine. Back in January 2013, a massive payout estimated to €17.86 million was dropped.

The online entertainment company has a number of other massive jackpots registered over the years. The above-mentioned €17.86 million payment actually beat another massive jackpot win, amounting to €11.7 million in 2011.

NetEnt has also seen a number of massive jackpot drops in 2015. At that time, NetEne Jackpots paid out an overall amount of more than €13 million. First, the Mega Fortune Dreams Jackpot was hit in November 2015, leaving the Swedish player with the amount of €4,431,301 from a spin estimated to just €2.15. Then, only a few days later, another player grabbed the Mega Fortune Jackpot, winning the incredible amount of €8,577,104.
