Rulah Divine Wins His First WSOP Bracelet by Taking Down 2017 WSOP $1,000 NLHE

The US poker player Rylah Divine registered his best live cash by emerging victorious from Event #63 of the 2017 edition of the World Series of Poker. The Las Vegas, Nevada-residing player has just won the 2017 WSOP $1,000 No-Limit Hold’em event, taking home a cash prize of $262,501 and scooping his first-ever gold bracelet.

The 37-year-old player earned the biggest cash portion of the event’s guaranteed prize pool, which also turned out to be the largest one in his career so far. This was also Rulah Divine’s third career WSOP cash, with the player previously finishing in the money at 84th position in the 2017 WSOP $333 NLHE – WSOP.com Online and at 72nd place in the 2013 WSOP $1,000 NLHE. So far, the American’s total live earnings are estimated to $273.381.

Day 3, which was also the final day of the event, saw only 20 players return in order to compete for the first-place prize and of course, for the WSOP gold bracelet. Some hours later, the final table was formed after Andy Frankenberger was eliminated and occupied the tenth place.

With the rest of the players being eliminated one by one, Divine managed to get the chip lead over the the three-handed play against his last standing opponents Patrick Truong and Michael Amato. At this time, Rulah Divine’s push towards the event’s title ended up with the elimination of Amato, who was sent to the third place of the ranking.

Of course, the key moment of the three-day event was the heads-up battle between the last two players standing, in this case, Rulah Divine and Patrick Truong. After a final clash between them two, it was Divine who emerged victorious from the event, winning his first WSOP gold bracelet.

After being crowned as a winner of the 2017 WSOP Event #63, Rulah Divine shared how happy he was after generating his largest monetary prize so far. He also confessed that he had been dreaming to win a World Series of Poker gold bracelet for many years, so he was not very happy with the fact he had finally managed to make his dream come true.

With Rulah Divine occupying the first place in the final table ranking and winning the 2017 WSOP $1,000 NLHE event gold bracelet as well as $262,501 in cash, his main opponent for the event’s title, Patrick Truong, occupied the runner-up position. He was granted with a guaranteed prize pool portion that is worth $162,170. Michael Amato remained third, taking home a monetary prize amounting to $116,940.

The fourth place in the ranking was taken by Yunsheng Sun, followed by Ryan Hughes. John Monnette remained sixth, while the seventh position in the final table ranking was occupied by Fabio Felice Cudia. Eddy Sabat was eighth, while the ninth, and last position, among the final table survivors was taken by Jeffrey Silverstein.
