Clarion Gaming Announces Young Gamblers Education Trust as Official WrB London 2017 Partner

The London-based event organising company Clarion Events revealed that the Young Gamblers Edication Trust (YGAM) has been appointed as its official charity partner for the upcoming Responsible Gambling Innovation. The event, which is to be held as a one-day symposium, is to take place on September 12th at London’s OXO2.

The Responsible Gambling Innovation symposium, also known under the abbreviation WrB London, is aimed at gathering everyone in Europe who is interested in technology, commercial strategy and responsible gambling politics. The organisers of the event have revealed that in 2017 they will be primarily focused on exploring market developments, provoking various discussions related to the co-existence of the gambling industry and its shareholders with responsible gambling policy.

The Senior Events Producer at Clarion Gaming, Sadie Walters, described responsible gaming as the very basis and the most important part of all organisations that operate in the gambling industry. Ms. Walters also explained that the Young Gamblers Education Trust is a UK-registered charity aimed at informing, educating and protecting young people from problem gambling, which is exactly why it was the perfect addition to the Responsible Gambling Innovation event.

This year, Clarion’s WrB is to include various briefings on responsible gambling. Also, a number of presentations from industry leaders such as the Chief Executive Officer of Mr Green, Jesper Kärrbrink, the Executive Director of the UK Gambling Commission, Tim Miller, and Camelot’s Head of Corporate Responsibility, Alison Gardner, will be featured.

At present times, responsible gambling technology has been making a quick progress, especially when combined with the adoption of corporate social responsibility and transparency in gaming. This is how, according to the organisers of Clarion Gaming, responsible gambling is made part of the contemporary gambling industry and engages special departments in gambling companies.

This is the second year in a row when WrB London is to return to London’s OXO2, a contemporary conference venue located in the very heart of the British capital city.
