Live Poker Tournaments Scheduled to Be Held in the UK and Ireland in March 2018

This March, the UK and Ireland would once again become an arena of various live poker tournaments. British and Irish poker lovers would be given the opportunity to enjoy live poker events offering different rules, buy-ins and prize pools.

Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT)

Leg 2 of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour was already given a start on February 25th. The tournament is to be held at Manchester’s Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road until March 4th as part of the 12th season of the GUKPT. A number of events are to be featured as part of the tournament, with a Mini Main Event, a NLHE Turbo, BLHE Bouty, Omaha 4/5/6 and Turbo Bounty event included in the schedule.

Of course, it is the main event which is most awaited by poker fans. It is to be held as a three-day event featuring two starting flights with unlimited re-entry option. The buy-in amounts to £1,100.

Genting Poker Series Mini

This year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series Mini is to see four legs kick off in March 2018. The Genting Resorts World Birmingham Genting Casino is to become home to the £220 buy-in NLHE Main Event from March 1st to 4th. The event is to feature three starting flights and a second day, plus a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £35,000.

Then, on March 5th Leg 3 of the Genting Poker Series Main is to start at Genting Casino Luton. The guaranteed prize pool of the Main Event is estimated to £100,000, with three starting flights and two following days featured. A few other events offering different prize pools are also to be held.

The period between March 22nd and March 25th is to see Leg 4 of the Genting Poker Series Mini be held at Liverpool’s Genting Club Queen Square. The £220 buy-in Main Event, which offers a £35,000 guaranteed prize, is to be held in two game days. Over the same period, Leg 5 of the Mini Series is also to take place at the Genting Club Westcliff in Westcliff-On-Sea.

APAT Championship

The beginning of March will see the APAT Scottish Amateur Poker Championship hosted at Edinburgh’s Grosvenor Maybury Casino. On March 3rd and 4th, a number of events, including a No Limit Hold’em Main Event, two Pot Limit Omaha and two NLHE.

Then, the APAT World Championship of Amateur Poker Season 11 is to kick off at the last day of March at the Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road in Manchester.

Grosvenor 25/25 Series

The very popular and much-loved Grosvenor 25/25 Series is to see four events kick off this March. First, the Grosvenor Maybury Casino in Edinburgh and the Grosvenor Portsmouth Gunwharf casino are to become home to the series from March 8th to 11th. The two casino venues will see a £225 buy-in NLHE event featuring a guaranteed prize of £25,000 be held in two game days, with three starting flights, one of which is to be held online at Grosvenor Poker.

Then, the other two events of the series are to be held at Grosvenor Casino in Walsall and at Blackpool’s Grosvenor G Casino from March 15th to 18th. The same guaranteed prize is to be offered to everyone who decides to pay the £225 entry fee and join the competition for the NLHE first-place title.

Monthly Special and Other Events

There will be a great variety of Monthly Special events in March, with various guaranteed prize pools and affordable buy-ins.

In addition, partypoker’s Irish Poker Open 2018 is to kick off on March 7th, with the series scheduled to be held until March 25th at Dublin’s Citywest Hotel. A great number of events is set to be held as part of the PPL Season 1, with the Main Event offering a massive €1,000,000 guaranteed prize.

This March will also see the PokerStars Live London Series be held at the iconic Hippodrome Casino in London. The two-day Main Event is set to start on March 9th and is to be held until March 11th, with four starting flights and a £40,000 guaranteed prize pool.

In the period from March 11th to March 25th, London’s Empire Casino is to see the WSOP Team Empire Qualifier held, with two game days planned for the £220 buy-in NLHE event.

Then, the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford is to become home to the 888 WPT500 Series. The latter is to take place at one of the most famous London casinos from March 11th to April 2nd, with a great variety of live poker events being included in its schedule. Another one of the most iconic casino venues in London – the Poker Room – is to host The London Deepstack from March 22nd to 25th. The tournament is features three starting flights plus a second day and feature an entry fee of £170.

Last but not least, Brighton’s Rendezvous Casino is to see the Unibet UK Poker Tour 2018 held for three days, between March 23rd and 25th. The No Limit Hold’em event is to feature £220, as well as a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £40,000.
