Macau gaming tycoon Lawrence Ho revealed that he has shifted his focus from Russia to Japan, where he believed his company could take advantage of the newly-opened casino market. As reported by Nikkei Asian Review, Mr. Ho who is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Melco Resorts & Entertainment said that he is decided to voluntarily surrender the control of a Russia-based casino resort late in 2017 in order to improve his company’s chances to apply for an integrated casino license in Japan. Adelaide Casino Planned AU$330-Million Expansion to Start in June

Today, the Premier of South Australia, Steven Marshall announced some development plans for the Adelaide Casino upgrade. Mr. Marshall revealed that construction is set to begin in June and will be carried out at the price of AU$330 million. As revealed by the Premier, it is SkyCity Entertainment Group that has signed a construction deal with Hansen Yuncken, an Australian commercial construction company, in order to complete the expansion of the Adelaide Casino.
