Variety of Live Poker Events to Kick Off in the UK and Ireland in June 2018

A month full of live poker tournaments and events is right behind the corner now. This June, poker lovers in the UK and Ireland would be able to enjoy a great variety of events with different rules, buy-ins and prize pools.

Some of the greatest casino venues around the country would be hosting the poker events, providing players with the chance to try their luck in an excellent atmosphere while being on their way to the first-place prize. Here are the live poker events that are to be hosted in the UK and Ireland this June.

Grosvenor 25/25 Series

Six events of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series are scheduled to be held in June. All of them offer a number of starting flights as well as a guaranteed prize pool estimated at £25,000.

The first one starts today, at the Grosvenor Portsmouth Gunwharf and is to come to an end on June 3rd. Then, Cardiff and Aberdeen will become the cities to host the series, with two No Limit Hold’em live poker events to be held from June 14th to 17th.

Two other events are to be held in the brand’s casinos in Luton and Stockton in the period from June 21st and 24th, while the last event from the Grosvenor 25/25 Series is set to take place at Manchester’s Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road.

2018 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT)

Leg 4 of the 2018 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) is to be held from June 3rd to June 10th at the Grosvenor G Casino in Reading.

The fourth stop of GUKPT Season 12 is to offer a wide variety of live poker events with different buy-ins and prices that could be suitable for players with different skills and bankrolls.

First, a Mini Main event with a £10,000 guaranteed prize pool and unlimited re-entry option is to be held. The Mini Main event is to see two game days with two starting flights available for everyone ready to pay the £115 buy-in. A number of NLHE Bounty and NLHE Turbo Bounty are also to be held, as well as several NLHE events and an Omaha 4/5/6 event.

Of course, the Main Event of the series is the most expected one. It is to be preceded by a £75 buy-in Satellite event, and then three starting flights at the price of £560 with unlimited re-entry option are to kick off. The Main Event offers a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

One Day Special Events

A number of One Day Special events are to be held in the UK in June. Luton’s Grosvenor G Casino is set to host one on June 3rd, offering a £8,000 guaranteed prize. The event could be joined for £100.

A few days later, on June 11th, the iconic Poker Room in London is to host another special event, the Monthly 1K Special. Two other One Day Specials are to follow, on June 17th and June 24th, respectively. Both of them are to be held in Luton, with an entry fee of £100 to apply to everyone who wants to try and win the £8,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last but not least, The Poker Room in London is to become home to two more Monthly Specials. The £550 buy-in Monthly 8-Max is to take place on June 25th, while the £330 buy-in Monthly Special is to be held on June 28th.

Other Live Poker Events in June

The Yorkshire VGC Poker Championships 2018 have already kicked off a few days ago at the Victoria Gate Casino in Leeds. The Championships are to be held from May 27th to June 2nd offering a number of Day 1s with a buy-in of £220, as well as a guaranteed prize pool of £50,000.

Then, it is the Dusk Till Dawn 8-Max Series which is to be held from May 31st to June 3rd in Nottingham, with a number of events set to kick off in the series. The events will offer various buy-ins and feature guaranteed prize pools of different sizes, including a massive prize pool amounting to £100,000.

In addition, Leg 10 of this year’s edition of Genting Poker Series Mini is to kick off at the Genting Casino Glasgow from May 31st to June 3rd as part of the GPS Season 2018. The event is to be held in two game days, with three starting flights priced £220 and offers a guaranteed prize pool amounting to £35,000.

The beginning of June will see the Bristol Rainbow Poker Masters Series 22 to kick off, with two side events and one main event included in the schedule. The first side event, set to be held on June 1st, comes at a price of £55 and offers a £5,000 guaranteed prize. Then, the Main Event is to be held in two game days on June 2nd and 3rd, offering a £220 buy-in and a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000. The second side event is to kick off on June 3rd.

PokerStars Masterstack London is one of the most expected live poker tournaments in June. The Series will take place at the iconic Hippodrome Casino in London from June 1st to 3rd. The Main Event with four starting flights at the price of £170, a two-day £440 buy-in High Roller tournament, as well as a “Cheap and Deep” event with an entry fee of £110, are included in the PokerStars Masterstack Series.

From June 8th to 10th, the Galway Bay Casino & Card Club is to become home to the partypoker Grand Prix Mini Galway event. Two game days are to be available, with the first one offering three starting flights at price of £120. The event, which is to be held as part of PPL Season 2, is to also offer a guaranteed prize pool estimated at €50,000.

Then, on June 9th, the London’s Aspers Casino Westfield Stratfor is to become the arena where 888 The One is to be held. The £1,000 buy-in NLHE event is to offer a massive £50,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last but not least, the Unibet UK Poker Tour 2018 will be hosted at the Alea Glasgow from June 29th to July 1st. The £220 NLHE tournament is set to offer a guaranteed prize pool estimated at £40,000.
