Most UK Gamblers Doubt Bookmakers Will Stick to Responsible Gambling Promotion

A new survey has shown that seven in ten gamblers do not believe in bookmakers’ intentions to help British people gamble responsibly. In a poll released by the international online market research and data analytics company YouGov, one in five players confessed that they had made an online bet which they could not actually afford over the last couple of years. Irish Government Pledges to Soon Establish Promised Gambling Regulatory Body

According to the Junior Minister in the Department of Justice, David Stanton, the Irish Government’s plan to create an independent gambling regulatory body. These intentions were announced a couple of months ago as part of the Government’s efforts to make the regulation of the country’s gambling sector more efficient and up-to-date.
