Yesterday, Nigel Huddleston was confirmed as the new sports minister as part of the recent reshuffle in the UK Government. As the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS) announced, Mr Huddleston has taken the role of Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Sport, Tourism and Heritage. UKGC Temporarily Suspends Sports Betting Exchange Matchbook’s Operating Licence for Unknown Reasons

The operating licence of the betting exchange company Matchbook was temporarily suspended by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) with the reasons still unknown. According to media reports, Matchbook contacted its British customers on February 17th via email to inform them that the major gambling regulatory body in the country had made the decision to temporarily ban the operating licence of Triplebet.
