GVC Unveils Poker Product Line Update

GVC Holdings has revealed that its poker product line would undergo major update thanks to introducing new options such as multi-table gameplay in order to enhance their players’ experience who use the mobile applications provided by the company.

Commenting on the new update release, the Chief Product Officer of the Isle of Man-based online gambling company Liron Snir described the step as one of the milestones of the Group’s poker offerings. He added that this would come as “the cutting edge of the industry”, especially when it comes to functionality and form.

Mr. Snir explained that the entire team of GVC were focused on developing and providing their customers with only high-quality gaming solutions, and the update release was supposed to help them deliver that objective.

The upgrade in question will be available on Android- and iOS-based mobile apps and will provide poker players with the opportunity to participate in up to four games at a time. Recently, GVC has been focused on making a complete overhaul of its already existing mobile offerings and prove it is committed to making further investments and bringing innovative solutions to its poker platform. The latter became part of the Group with the takeover of bwin.party at the beginning of February this year.

Earlier in August, GVC launched the upgrade on its flagship poker brand Party Poker, and plans to roll it out on the rest of its gaming brands until the end of 2016.

The company will also release the upgrade on its premier sports betting brand bwin Sportsbook & Racebook. In addition, several of the company’s partners who have been provided by GVC’s business-to-business gaming services are to offer the new mobile platform. According to the company’s press release, these partners will also form a certain part of a more extensive business-to-business gaming offer of GVC Holdings.

The new update release comes after a period of lower investments made by the company in this business segment. It is expected to bring the mobile poker offerings of GVC to a whole new level and make it a leader in the industry. After the updates’ implementation, players will be given the chance to play at four poker tables simultaneously plus a mix of tournament play and cash games.

New functionalities and gaming options such as a mini table view for example will be brought to the company’s customers, as well as bet slider customization. Of course, new updates are expected to be added in the future, too.
