Evolution Gaming Joins Forces with iSoftBet for New Studio in Romania

One of the leading companies in video-streamed Live Dealer casino games on a global scale – Evolution Gaming – has officially announced its plans to release a new studio in Romania.

The studio would be launched in collaboration with the UK-based online and mobile casino software provider iSoftBet and will be the first in Romania. As revealed by Evolution Gaming in its statement, the studio would be fully-certified and will be located at the Grand Casino Budapest.

Commenting on the deal with iSoftBet and the plans of launching the studio, the Director of Business Development and Land-based Sales of Evolution Gaming James Stern said that the location for the live casino studio was perfect. He described it as a “prestigious resort-style venue” and explained that players at the Romanian gambling market already knew it pretty well.

According to him, this would make the new service even more popular and praised, which on the other hand would help it quickly win the trust of the local customers.

Mr. Stern also said that everyone at Evolution Gaming had been very happy for the collaboration with iSoftBet and for the release of the live gaming studio, respectively. He added that the company’s team were very proud for the fact they were the first Live Casino provider that got a license for running such operations in the relatively new regulated market.

Evolution Gaming’s Director of Business Development shared that the company, listed in Stockholm, already had an extensive experience in providing such remote gaming services in other new jurisdictions like Italy, Spain and Belgium. As he explained, the company’s experience made them confident in their abilities to achieve another success in the Romanian market.

Under the terms of the agreement between the two operators, the Live Casino studio facility is planned to be officially launched later in September. It will be located on the level below the already existing gaming floor in the casino, at a place that has initially served as an extension of the gaming environment in the venue.

This will be the first Live Casino studio on the territory of Romania and in its gambling market which has a relatively new regulation.

The British cutting-edge gaming provider iSoftBet joined forces with Evolution Gaming in order to meet their customers’ demands with an exclusive Live Casino service, which is initially expected to provide a range of Evolution’s major games streamed live to local customers who use both desktop and mobile devices.

The Chief Executive Officer of iSoftBet Nir Elbaz commented that the UK-based provider had been focused on expanding in regulated markets, and this strategy had been proved by the fact that it had been granted with a license in Romania. He shared that the collaboration with Evolution Gaming would allow them to provide a multi-product offering to the local customers, which on the other hand would boost their regulatory experience.
