TRP Joins Forces with FRB in Exclusive Deal until 2019

The Racing Partnership (TRP) revealed that it has joined forces with the FRB that comes for short of Federation of Racecourse Bookmakers. The deal between the two companies will last until the end of 2019 and will make the prices of the FRB-represented course bookmakers available for TRP exclusively.

Mark Kingston, the Director of The Racing Partnership, commented on the partnership agreement with the Federation of Racecourse Bookmakers, saying that TRP had always looking for a contract with all bookmakers that take part in competitions on its racecourses. According to him, the most recent deal of the brand, along with the one with the BRBA, would make that possible for the TRP.

Mr. Kingston also added that the agreement would result in the TRP becoming the only source of official race day data to the market which was not following the intended route.

This has not been the only deal of The Racing Partnership so far this year. Earlier in 2016, TRP has signed another agreement with the British Racecourse Bookmakers Association (BRBA). It will provide TRP with the chance to access the prices of the bookmakers that follow the intended course. The deal’s scoop includes all bookies that operate across TRP’s 22 member racecourses.

The deal is to come into effect on January 1st, 2017 for a number of racecourses, including Royal Windsor, Lingfield Park, Worcester, Southwell, Doncaster and Woleverhampton. Then, the nine remaining ARC and the seven independent courses held by TRP will be included. As mentioned above, the deal is to run until the end of 2019.

At the end of September 2016, TRP inked a deal with BRBA to administer payments to on course bookmakers. Under the terms of the deal, TRP provide BRBA with exclusive coverage to Licensed Betting Offices across the Worcester, Royal Windsor, Doncaster, Southwell, Wolverhampton and Lingfield Park.

Robin Grossmith who is the Director of the Federation of Racecourse Bookmakers confirmed of the deal, saying he was very glad that FRB inked that deal with TRP. In his opinion, the deal provided FRB with the data that on course bookmakers operating across the estate of TRP generate. Mr. Grossmith added that the entire team of TRP was impatient to start working in collaboration with TRP.
