EveryMatrix Gets Two ONJN Class II Licences in Romania

The National Gambling Office in Romania (ONJN) has issued two Class II Licences to the independent software company EveryMatrix. Thanks to these licenses, the company will be allowed to provide local gambling operators with a variety of gambling solutions, platform management services and hosting facilities.

The Chief Executive Officer of EveryMatrix Ebbe Groes commented on the newly-issued licenses, saying that the company had long invested in Romania, so the access they get to the local gambling market came as “a natural consequence” of the long-lasting interest of the gaming solutions supplier in it.

Mr. Groes also shared his pride with the fact that the largest office of EveryMatrix would be located in Romania, with over 50% of the total number of company’s employees working in Bucharest. Moreover, the gaming software and solutions provider’s boss shared that the licenses granted by the competent regulatory authority of Romania had helped turning the country into an important addition to their portfolio.

This a great step forward for EveryMatrix which sets foot in the regulated Romanian gambling market. Currently, the legislation and regulatory framework in the country is subjected to the Romanian regulations, with the latter being implemented in May 2015. At that time, some changes were made in the legislation that was out of date. These amendments have been required in order for the Romanian gambling laws to correspond to the demands imposed by the European Commission.

Thanks to the two Class II Licences, the business-to-business gaming software supplier EveryMatrix would be provided with the chance to offer its qualitative casino and sports betting solutions to web-based gambling operators who are interested in the regulated gaming market of Romania.

Recently the company has been primarily focused on expanding its reach to global regulated markets and consolidating its presence in Romania, by adapting its offerings and providing them in line with the local regulatory framework and legislation. It has also been aimed at securing operating licenses in as much as European country as possible. Currently, EveryMatrix has operations in the UK, Ireland, Malta and Denmark. Romania is now the newest addition to the countries where the gaming software and solutions of the company are being offered.

Still, the interest seemed to be mutual, as the Sportsbook Solution of EveryMatrix has received a great recognition from the local gambling industry, as it was granted with “The Best Sportsbook Content Provider” by the Romanian Casino Life & Business Magazine in December 2016.
