EGT Seeks Further Expansion in Mexico via Codere Deal

The international gaming manufacturer Euro Games Technology revealed that it has kept its progress on the territory of Mexico. The Bulgaria-headquartered company, which already holds representative offices in Europe, America, Asia and Africa, has just recently made its major installation in Mexico.

Now, it has managed to ink a partnership agreement with Codere, which is currently known as the largest casino operator in the country. Up to date, Codere is not only the biggest casino operator on the territory of Mexico, but a provider of excellent-quality services and a massive gaming portfolio estimated to more than 20,000 machines.

The Director of EGT Central America and Mexico, Nadia Popova, commented on the company’s current and upcoming installations. Ms. Popova explained that the first deal of EGT was finalised in Panama in 2011 with the company being required to provide its best-selling slot cabinet model, the P-24/24 Up cabinet. As she revealed, this cabinet model soon marked a better performance in comparison to the products presented by the company’s competitors, attracting the attention of many local players.

As explained by Ms. Popova, the markets of Colombia and Mexico were such of strategical importance to Euro Games Technology, so that was one of the main reasons why the company has decided to further extend its reach in the countries.

Under the terms of the partnership deal, Euro Games Technology is to deliver a total of 130 slot cabinets of the P-27/27 St Slim model to Codere. The afore-mentioned model would be the prevailing model over the upcoming deliveries .

Also, the deal that would bring new installation of EGT products in the country is to mark the beginning of another one. The upcoming installation is to involve a total of 400 machines across a number of Codere facilities located in Mexico. It is planned to be officially completed until the end of 2017. The installations will also include the latest platform of Euro Games Technology – the Exciter III and the Orange and Green Collection multi-game mixes. Currently, both of them feature a variety of 48 gaming titles.

In addition, under the terms of the deal, Codere’s players will get access to another product of Euro Games Technology, the P-42V Curved St cabinet, featuring 42-inch curved monitors and exclusive design. The leading product of the multi-player division of EGT, the Luxury Series’ touch-screen roulette table, is also to be provided to Codere’s customers thanks to the two companies’ collaboration deal.

The deal was also confirmed by the management team of Codere. The company’s representatives revealed that the entire team of the largest casino operator in Mexico was very pleased with the implementation of EGT’s products into the offering of their gaming facilities in the country. The company also revealed that the collaboration with Euro Games Technology has been a long-term project that is set to soon include all Codere gaming venues in Mexico.
