Microgaming’s Quickfire Platform Rolls Out Gaming Content with PokerStars

The Isle of Man-based gaming software development company Microgaming revealed that its games have gone live with the online casino of the Amaya Inc.’s brand PokerStars. After a successful integration of Microgaming’s Quickfire platform, the full suite of gaming options is to go live with the fastest growing online casino on a global scale, PokerStars Casino.

The Director of the Quickfire division at Microgaming, Andrew Clucas, commented on the partnership deal between the two companies, describing the contract as a great achievement for Microgaming to see its Quickfire platform live with the PokerStars brand. Mr. Clucas also described PokerStars as one of the most popular gaming brands that featured massive player base, which would be great for the gaming solutions provided by Quickfire. On the other hand, the division’s Director explained that the gaming content provided by Microgaming would be perfectly suitable for the casino customers of PokerStars.

Mr. Clucal further shared that the company would continue to work in a close relationship with PokerStars and the brand’s online casino as they were willing to expand their games portfolio through the Quickfire platform.

At the beginning of February 2017, Microgaming revealed that it had inked a major partnership agreement with PokerStars via its Quickfire platform. At the close of the integration, PokerStars’ customers will be available to reach some of the premium Microgaming casino games, such as Mega Moolah, Thunderstruck II, Break Da Bank Again, Immortal Romance, Ariana, etc. The number of exclusive games to be added to the PokerStars Casino’s offering is to increase over the following months.

Back in February, the two companies lifted the curtain around their casino and mobile content deal, explaining that their collaboration would include the integration of Microsoft’s Quickfire platform. Up to date, PokerStars is the largest and most popular online poker website on a global scale, featuring over 108 million registered members. Microgaming, on the other hand, has been the major provider of online gaming software across the industry, powering more than 600 gaming websites worldwide.

Under the deal between the two companies, PokerStars received access to the largest number of progressive jackpot game network in the world, as well as to the most extensive gaming portfolio, which also includes branded titles.

The deal was also confirmed by the Director of PokerStars Casino Operations at PokerStars, Bo Wanghammar, who explained that everyone at the brand’s team were very happy with the fact their players could now access some of the best games available in the online casino industry. According to him, the deal would result in further enhancing the brand’s already existing product offering.

He also added that the partnership agreement between PokerStars Casino and Microgaming would help Amaya Inc.’s brand with the chance to offer the best online gaming experience to its customers. Mr. Wanghammar provided further details about the future plans of PokerStars, unveiling the brand’s intentions to expand its Microgaming offering soon.
