BetBull Games Limited to Cease UK-Facing Gambling Services as of July 3rd, 2022

The online gambling company BetBull Games Limited is set to cease all its gambling services in the UK as of July 3rd, 2022.

The operator published a short statement on its website to inform its customers about the recently-made decision. The statement was then shared across BetBull’s official social media accounts. The gambling operator shared that the decision was not easy to make and directed its customers to check its Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section for more information about key dates.

It is worth mentioning that, in its post announcing the news about the decision on social media, the gambling company used a setting to make sure that only people mentioned by BetBull in the post were able to reply. The setting basically made it impossible for people to reply because no one was tagged in the company’s publication.

As mentioned above, all gambling activity of the company is set to be ceased soon. BetBull’s customers will be given time until July 3rd, 2022 to log into their accounts and withdraw any money they might have there as normal. The online gambling operator further noted that its Customer Support team is set to process any customer withdrawals manually after that date. BetBull’s customers will be able to get in contact with its Customer Support via e-mail.

BetBull’s Latest Advertising Campaign Featuring Cantona Was Unable to Save Its Gambling Operations in the UK

BetBull’s decision to cease its UK-facing operations came surprisingly, especially considering the fact that the online gambling company had started a new advertising campaign in the country only within the past 12 months. The campaign featured one of the most iconic professional football players – the former Manchester United star Eric Cantona.

While promoting its services to British consumers, BetBull has been emphasizing the social aspects of the betting experience the company offered. The #NeverBetAlone hashtag has been frequently used on the brand’s Twitter account but unfortunately, it seems that these features were not found that much attractive by customers.

In October 2018, a 22.5% stake in BetBull Games Limited was purchased by the US gambling giant Wynn Resorts. Despite the successful purchase, Wynn Resorts has recently openly discussed the challenges of competing in the online gambling sector. According to rumours that have emerged in the sector, Wynn Resorts intends to dispose of its sports betting and online gambling operations, especially now, as Wynn Interactive’s share within major US markets has been reduced.

As far as BetBull is concerned, its gambling activities in the UK market are set to officially end on July 3rd, 2022. The company, which was established by the online gambling entrepreneur Sadok Kohen in 2015 as a proprietary built mobile-first sports betting service, has been maintaining an operating licence issued by the UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) and its headquarters were situated in London, supported by an engineering and technology hub in Kyiv, Ukraine.
