Experienced Executives Join Legal Operations
Resorts World Las Vegas has expanded its executive team with the addition of two accomplished legal professionals. Lou Dorn has been named Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary, while Elizabeth Tranchina will serve as General Counsel. Both executives will oversee legal, governance, and risk management functions throughout the property.
Backgrounds in Gaming and Compliance
Lou Dorn brings experience from his prior role at Bally’s Corporation, where he managed legal matters for 19 casino and resort properties, including oversight of online gaming and sports wagering. He has previously held senior legal positions with Monarch Casino & Resort, SLS Las Vegas, Aliante Casino and Hotel, and the Las Vegas Hilton.
Dorn has also worked in public service, serving as chief of the Corporate Securities Division for the Nevada Gaming Control Board and as Deputy Attorney General for the State of Nevada, roles that included regulatory enforcement and compliance oversight for Nevada gaming and federal securities laws.

Elizabeth Tranchina’s Diverse Legal Background
Elizabeth Tranchina began her legal career as an assistant attorney general in the Gaming Division of the Louisiana Department of Justice. She most recently led the legal department at Investar Bank and managed legal operations across more than 20 locations in Louisiana, Texas, and Alabama. Tranchina has also served as general counsel for Rio Hotel & Casino and held senior legal roles at public companies in gaming, sports betting, and iGaming industries, focusing on multi-jurisdiction compliance and risk management.
