He spent more than eight years as Director of Internal Audit & Risk at Playtech plc, a leading online gaming software and services provider listed on the London Stock Exchange. In this capacity, he participated in Playtech’s Audit, Risk and Governance Committees, managed global audit programs, and played a key role in achieving compliance across several legal jurisdictions.
Penfold also held senior risk management responsibilities at bwin.party digital entertainment plc, overseeing regulatory matters in Spain, Denmark, Italy, Belgium, France, and Gibraltar. His recent experience includes serving as Governance, Risk & Compliance Manager at the Isle of Man Government’s Attorney General Chambers, where he led the introduction of risk frameworks and data governance processes for multiple divisions.
