Caesars Prepares to Launch New Sportsbook at Rampart Casino in Summerlin

Key Moments:

  • Caesars Entertainment has announced a partnership with Rampart Casino to open a Caesars Sportsbook. The launch is targeted for early 2026, pending regulatory approval.
  • As part of the plan, the new sportsbook will offer in-person registration for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app, mobile cash services, and 20 betting kiosks across the property.
  • Currently, Caesars Sportsbook operates in 34 states and jurisdictions. The mobile app launched in 2021, while a digital wallet feature is scheduled for June 2025.

Strategic Partnership and Planned Launch

Caesars Entertainment has revealed plans to bring a retail Caesars Sportsbook to Rampart Casino at The Resort at Summerlin. However, the agreement remains subject to approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission. If approved, the sportsbook is expected to open in early 2026.

In addition, the sportsbook will allow guests to register for the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app on-site. Players will also be able to make cash deposits and withdrawals through mobile channels. Furthermore, the casino will feature 20 self-service betting kiosks. To enhance the atmosphere, the venue will include a new video wall and a 360-degree LED display at the bar.

Executive Perspectives

Eric Hession, President of Caesars Digital, commented: “We are excited to partner with the outstanding team at Rampart Casino. Together, we will bring the Caesars Sportsbook experience to this marquee property. Importantly, this marks our first presence in Summerlin. We believe there is strong pent-up demand in the community. As a result, Rampart is the ideal partner to reach local sports fans.”

Meanwhile, Michelle McHugh, Vice President and General Manager at Rampart Casino, added: “As part of our recent investments and property upgrades, we carefully evaluated potential partners. Ultimately, we selected a provider that delivers best-in-class technology, branding, and service.”

Growing Presence in Nevada and Regions Beyond

This announcement follows the recent debut of a William Hill sportsbook at Virgin Hotels Las Vegas in November. At the same time, Caesars continues to expand its footprint across the Las Vegas Valley. Currently, the company operates 23 full-service William Hill sportsbook locations. These include M Resort in Henderson, Rio Hotel & Casino, Venetian and Palazzo on the Strip, Palms Casino Resort, Strat, Binion’s, and Four Queens in downtown Las Vegas. Additionally, Downtown Grand features a Caesars Sportsbook.

According to Hession, branding decisions vary by property: “In Nevada, we generally lead with the William Hill brand. Most partners prefer it, as Caesars is sometimes viewed as a competitor. Others like having a locals-focused brand. While both brands share the same core product, the final choice comes down to branding.”

Expansion of Caesars Sportsbook Operations

Beyond Nevada, Caesars has continued to grow nationwide. Recently, the company opened sportsbooks in Missouri at Harrah’s Kansas City and Horseshoe St. Louis on Dec. 1. Shortly before that, it launched a location at Monmouth Park on Nov. 20. Overall, the Caesars Sportsbook brand is now active in 34 states and jurisdictions. Mobile betting is available in 29 of those markets.

Technology and Product Development

Since launching in 2021, the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app has steadily expanded its features. Most notably, the company plans to introduce the Universal Digital Wallet in June 2025. Once live, the wallet will be available in 24 jurisdictions. As a result, players will be able to manage funds seamlessly across all Caesars Sportsbook markets.
