In November, the UAE Lottery marked its first year of operations by distributing over AED 147 million ($40.03 million) in total prizes to upwards of 100,000 players. The highlight of its inaugural year was a record-setting AED 100 million ($27.23 million) Grand Prize, one of the largest lottery payouts ever recorded in both the UAE and the broader MENA region.
The platform crowned five new millionaires during its first twelve months and handed out 233 prizes of AED 100,000 each through its Lucky Day, Lucky Chance, and Scratch Card offerings. The introduction of these diverse games has created significant excitement and anticipation throughout the country.
Expanding Game Offerings and Player Engagement
Throughout its first year, the UAE Lottery broadened its selection to more than 20 gaming experiences. These included flagship draws like Lucky Day, daily games such as Pick 3, Pick 4, and Color Prediction, as well as a growing assortment of scratch cards and e-instant games, with some entries starting at AED 1. So far, scratch cards alone have delivered five AED 1 million top prizes.
