ScotBet Upgrades Betting Shops with Advanced AV Solutions from TVC

Key Moments:

  • TVC Technology Solutions has finalized a comprehensive AV installation for ScotBet, updating digital infrastructure across multiple shops.
  • The project included large-format LCD and LED displays, centralized signage control, and custom dynamic content creation.
  • TVC implemented the MySign digital signage platform, enabling ScotsBet to deliver real-time promotional content and updates.

Modernizing ScotBet’s Digital Experience

TVC Technology Solutions has completed a wide-ranging audiovisual (AV) upgrade for ScotBet, a prominent bookmaker in Scotland. This initiative included enhancing several of ScotBet’s betting shops with updated AV technology, supporting efforts to increase customer engagement, extend time spent in-store, and solidify the bookmaker’s market competitiveness.

Project Scope and Implementation

Working alongside ScotBet’s retail operations and branding teams, TVC created an AV plan designed to address issues such as inconsistent screen sizes and outdated display technologies. The approach involved installing ultra-slim, large-format displays at strategic points within the shops. These included high-brightness 75″ commercial LCD and LED panels in customer-facing areas, as well as multiscreen gantries above counters to broadcast live odds, race streams, and promotional material.

The hardware was installed using discreet mounting to maintain the interior décor while ensuring accessibility for servicing. A network of digital signage screens powered by the MySign platform was also introduced into entrance areas, allowing ScotBet to broadcast updated odds, event promotions, and third-party advertising rapidly.

Content Integration and Service Support

TVC’s involvement extended beyond installing displays. A dedicated content-creation service delivered animated campaigns, live odds tickers, game-day social media overlays, and fast-paced on-screen graphics tailored for the fast-evolving betting environment. The entire content and AV infrastructure integration was handled solely by TVC, streamlining the process for ScotBet.

The TVC Approach and Industry Experience

As noted by Andy Greaves, sales director at TVC, “Our employee-owned structure means everyone at TVC is passionately behind every project. We instantly become partners to our betting shop customers, rather than just supply vendors, and the ability to supply and install an end-to-end video, signage and content integration seamlessly makes for a smooth project from start to finish.”

TVC brings close to thirty years of experience across diverse sectors, including gaming arcades, hospitality, grocery, and leisure venues. For each client, TVC delivers custom solutions, supported by ongoing maintenance and service, addressing the needs of high-traffic environments and regulatory frameworks.

Enhancing Revenue Through Digital Signage

“With surveys showing increased dwell time, engagement and sales through digital signage advertising, and with many better retailers seeing over 10% of their revenue attributed to virtual and e-sports, now is the time to maximise your AV impact and ROI,” said Greaves.
