BETBY Launches in Polish Market Through Strategic Alliance with Betters

Key Moments:

  • BETBY has entered Poland for the first time via a partnership with Betters, a local sports betting operator.
  • Betters now utilizes BETBY’s complete sportsbook and Betby.Games, featuring more than 400,000 live virtual sports events monthly.
  • H2 Gambling Capital forecasts Poland’s regulated sports betting GGR will rise to €1.62 billion in 2026.

Initial Expansion into Poland

BETBY, a Malta-licensed B2B sportsbook solutions provider, has forged its inaugural presence in Poland by partnering with Betters, which holds a local sports betting license. This agreement gives Betters access to BETBY’s entire sportsbook technology platform as well as the proprietary esports simulation feed, Betby.Games.

Comprehensive Product Integration

Following the deal, Betters has integrated not only BETBY’s full sportsbook but also Betby.Games into its offering. Betby.Games delivers extensive virtual sports simulations with coverage of 25 virtual sports and more than 400,000 live events each month, supported by 100% video streaming. Betters operates through its parent, Silesia Entertainment Sp. z o.o., under a license from the Polish Ministry of Finance, providing its betting products on both web and mobile platforms. The integration now allows Betters to leverage more than 125 sports, both in-play and pre-match betting, and advanced risk management features.

BETBY’s offering to Betters comes as part of a broader product portfolio, which the supplier has been steadily rolling out as it expands into more regulated markets during 2025 and 2026.

Poland’s Regulatory and Tax Environment

The Polish sports betting market is among the most rigorously regulated in Europe. Operators must obtain a license from the Minister of Finance and are subject to penalties such as domain blocking and payment restrictions if they operate without authorization. The industry is challenged by a 12% tax on gross turnover, which analysis by H2 Gambling Capital equates to approximately 55–65% of gross gaming revenue, substantially constraining operator margins.

Nevertheless, H2 Gambling Capital projects that the sector will continue to expand, anticipating Polish sports betting GGR will reach €1.62 billion in 2026, derived from €5.07 billion in gross turnover. Online channels are estimated to account for between 78% and 88% of this activity. In contrast, access to online casino gaming remains exclusive to the state-owned Totalizator Sportowy.

Executive Perspectives

Stefanos Karakidis, Director of Business Development at BETBY, said:

“Poland is a mature and highly competitive market and our partnership with Betters reflects our strategy of working with established local operators to deliver tailored, high-quality sportsbook experiences while building sustainable growth in key regulated jurisdictions.”

Karakidis noted that this Polish entry forms part of a broader strategy for the company’s growth in regulated markets, following a succession of partnerships across Asia, Latin America, and Central and Eastern Europe throughout 2025 and 2026.

Konrad Łabudek, Chief Executive Officer at Betters, commented that BETBY’s combined sportsbook capabilities, localized offerings, and its esports content helped distinguish the partnership. Łabudek stated that incorporating Betby.Games alongside the main sportsbook enables Betters to provide unique content as it continues to evolve its product selection for Polish customers.

BETBY’s Global Licensing and Market Expansion

BETBY holds MGA license MGA/B2B/780/2020, issued to Earlybird Ltd on 3 August 2020. The company provides sportsbook platform technology, risk management solutions, AI-driven trading services, and Betby.Games to regulated operators internationally. BETBY has indicated plans to pursue further collaborations with additional local Polish partners beyond the Betters partnership.
