The UK Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards has found that a MPs report related to the fixed-odds betting terminals (FOBTs) which was published in January 2017 has violated some parliamentary standards. The UK Gambling Commission (UKGC) issued a warning to gambling operators, urging them to make sure that their advertising campaigns were not violating social responsibility rules or misleading their customers.
