PokerStars Reveals New Live Events Stops in Asia and Latin America

The online poker brand of Amaya Inc. – PokerStars – has already revealed its 2017 Champonship and Festival stops, but now it added some more key dates and schedules to its events’ schedule. After the first events for this year, which took place in New Jersey, London and the Bahamas, the Isle of Man-based brand added a few more stops to the ones that have been already announced.

The Director of Live Events at PokerStars Edgar Stuchly shared that the brand’s Championship and Festival events were to be taken across the globe, ensuring a year full of exciting poker events. According to him, the increased number of poker events that reach to new and exciting destinations would help the poker game to increase its popularity on a global scale, by offering poker lovers a great variety of excellent poker experience.

The Amaya poker brand issued a press release, revealing that the PokerStars Festival will feature several additional stops, including the ones in Chile, Marbella, Asia, Manila and Urugyay.

The PokerStars Festival, which has already stopped in London, Rozvadov and Panama, is to head to Latin America. Chile will see the first PokerStars Festival there to kick off on May 20th at the Vina del Mar Hotel & Casino. The Festival will run for a total of eight days, until May 27th, featuring a large variety of events in order to meet the different players’ categories. It will feature an Opening event, PokerStars Cup event, a High Roller Event as well as a Main Event.

The PokerStars Festival is to add one more step to its Spanish presence – a stop at Casino Marbella in the period from June 19th to June 25th. The city is known as a desired tourist destination, as it attracts hundreds of visitors every year, so a PokerStars Festival stop there seems like a pretty logical decision. The Festival’s schedule includes an Opening Event, a Main Event, a High Roller Event, the Marbella Poker Cup, a special edition of the Super Deepstack Turbo Estrelas as well as a Sunday Hyperturbo event.

Also in the summer of 2017, the first PokerStars Festival in Asia is set to take place in Incheon, South Korea. The tournament is to kick off on July 14th and is to end on June 24th after eleven exciting days full of excitement and entertainment. The Festival is to be hosted at the newly-opened Paradise City, Incheon complex. Its official schedule remains to be announced.

The PokerStars Festival Manilla is to start on July 28th and is to run until August 7th at the “PokerStars LIVE at City of Dreams Manila” venue. The first event of the Amaya brand in Manila was held a decade ago, and since the PokerStars LIVE Manila venue was established in 2014, the venue has hosted some of the largest and most attractive events in the Phillippines.

Last but not least, PokerStars revealed an Uruguay stop, which would be the final stop of the 2017 Festival in Latin America. The Punta del Este resort city is to host the Festival events, starting with the Opening Event on September 16th. There will also be the PokerStars Cup, the Main Event, and a High Roller Event.
