The Cash Game Festival is heading to Gibraltar, after celebrating great success at its previous stops in February, March and April. This time, the Festival is to set foot at Gibraltar’s Sunborn Casino for the first time in its history. The Cash Game Festival is to be held in Gibraltar in the period from May 17th do 21th.
The Sunborn Casino’s poker room is currently one of the largest ones in Europe. The Festival is expected to be found attractive by both professional and recreational players. As far as the games featured are concerned, most tables would offer No Limit Hold’em and Pot-Limit Omaha, but organisers have made sure they would be able to meet various requests, too.
As mentioned above, the Festival had been great success in the previous stops. Back in February, the Cash Game Festival was held at London’s Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford City. Then, in March, it kicked off at the Perla Casino, and in April Tallinn, the capital city of Estonia hosted the Festival at the Olympic Park Casino.
So far, the organisers of the poker festival has evaluated the beginning of 2017 as pretty successful for the event. Back in 2016, only 5 live events were featured as part of the Festival schedule, but in 2017 they more than doubled their number, with a total of 11 set to kick off until the end of the year.
The Festival has managed to greatly expand over the last few years. Its inaugural event was officially held in Estonia in 2014, followed by almost two years of successful local cash game events.
Then, in 2016, the Cash Game Festival expanded its reach. As mentioned above, it had a total of five stops last year, with the first one of them being at the London’s Aspers Casino. Then, the Festival travelled to Malta, where it was hosted at Casino Malta. The third stop of the poker Festival was Platinum Casino in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria, followed by another event in London. The fifth event in the Festival’s 2016 schedule brought it back to Tallinn’s Olympic Park Casino.
The organisers of the event have revealed that the Festival will once again offer all-day-long cash games throughout the 5 days of live events. There will also be live online broadcasts featured over the Cash Game Festival, with them being available for all followers of the Festival’s Twitch Channel. What is more, the participants in the Festival’s events will be able to take part in a number of entertainment activities, including a VIP party, welcome drinks, special city tour, a dining event as well as a sporting activity.
Also, according to the organisers of the Cash Game Festival, the latter has a lot advantages when compared to a regular poker tournament, and we do not only talk about the various entertainment activities mentioned above. Also, there are no time clocks, so players are the only ones who decide whether to stay at a certain table or leave and enjoy themselves in another way.
