Live Poker Tournaments to Start in UK and Ireland in June 2017

With only a few days left until the end of May, it is time for the poker lovers in the UK and Ireland to turn their eyes towards the upcoming live poker tournaments, festivals and events, which are set to take place in June 2017.

As always, UK and Ireland are set to host a variety of poker tournaments over the upcoming month, with each of the live poker events featuring great prizes in return to different buy-ins in order to match all types of players.

The Rendezvous Poker Festival 2017 is the first live festival that is expected to be held in June. It is to start with a £15 buy-in Satellite to the Main Event on May 28th at the Rendezvous Casino in Brighton and is set to end a week later, on June 4th. The festival is to offer a number of events, including a NLHE – Bank Holiday Deepstack, a Pot Limit Omaha, NLHE – Progressive Bounty, and of course, the £220 Main Event, which is to feature two starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool estimated to £20,000.

Then, the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford in London is to host the 888 Season 2017 from June 1st to 4th. The event features a guaranteed prize pool of £28,000. three starting flights are to precede the No Limit Hold’em Final Day.

June will also see a total of six Grosvenor 25/25 Series events kick off across the UK and Ireland. The first one of them is scheduled to start at the Grosvenor Casino in Liverpool on June 1st. The NLHE event with a £25,000 guaranteed prize pool is to end with its final day on June 4th. The next event from the Grosvenor 25/25 Series is to be held at the Poker Room formerly The Vic in London from June 8th to 11th, with another guaranteed prize pool of £25,000 under the spotlight.

Then, from June 8th to June 11th, the Grosvenor Casino in Leicester is to host the next event from the Grosvenor 25/25 Series. Only a few days later – on June 15th, another event is set to start at the Grosvenor Leeds Merrion in Leeds. Over the same period of time (June 15th-18th) the Grosvenor Casino Merchant City in Glasgow will see one more event of the 25/25 Series kick off. Last but not least, the Grosvenor G Casino in Thanet is to host the sixth Grosvenor 25/25 Series event for the month from June 22nd to June 25th. Of course, all events from the series offer a buy-in of £220 as well as a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000.

The Unibet UK Poker Tour 2017 is also scheduled to be held in June, with the event being set to kick off on June 2nd. The £220 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event, which offers a guaranteed prize pool worth £40,000, is to end after two starting flights on June 4th.

Then, on June 3rd, the Grosvenor G Casino in Reading is to host the one-day £110 NLHE Monthly Special event, featuring a guaranteed prize pool of £10,000.

Another one-day event is set to start in June. This would be the Anniversary Special event that is to take place at the Regency Airport Hotel in Dublin on June 7th. With a buy-in of €80 only and a guaranteed prize pool estimated to €15,000, the Anniversary Special is a reasonable choice for players who have smaller bankrolls.

Then, between June 8th and June 12th, another 888 festival is to start. The 888Live Special Edition Dublin is set to kick off at the Village Green Card Club in Dublin. The organisers are still expected to announce the official the festival’s schedule.

On June 10th, Dublin will host another one-day event. The One Day Special offering a buy-in of €120 is to kick off at the Green Isle Hotel.

In addition, this year’s GPS Season will see another leg be held in June. The 2017 Genting Poker Series Mini – Leg 9 Birmingham is scheduled to start on June 12th. The poker Series is to be hosted by the Resorts World Birmingham Genting Casino until June 18th and offers a £220 buy-in Main Event with a guaranteed prize pool of £35,000.

Carlow in Ireland will be the next destination set to host a live poker event in June. The Summer Sizzler, a €150 No Limit Hold’em event offering a guaranteed prize of €10,000 is to be held on June 17th at the Dolmen Hotel.

Another significant live poker tournament that is scheduled to start in June comes as part of the PPL Season 2017. The partypoker Grand Prix UK is to start at the Dusk Till Dawn in Nottingham on June 17th, featuring a massive guaranteed prize pool of £1,000,000. The tournamet is to be held until June 25th, when it is to be closed with the Grand Prix UK Live Final Day.

At the same time, Dublin is to host another large festival – the LSPKR Mammoth, starting June 21st. It is the Regency Airport Hotel in Dublin that is to host the events from the tournament, with a number of them available for the British and Irish players. All events offer various buy-ins, with the Mammoth Main Event featuring a buy-in of €120 and a guaranteed prize pool of €100,000.

Another large poker series is to have its next stage in June. The 11th Season of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) will see its Leg 6 (London) kick off on June 25th. The series, which offers a Main Event and a Mini Main Event, is to be held at the Poker Room formerly The Vic in London until July 2nd. The Mini Main Event is to see two starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool of £10,000, while the Main Event offers a £100,000 guaranteed prize pool.

Last but not least, there is one more event that is to kick off at the very end of June 2017 – the PokerStars Megastack London. The event, which is to be held as part of PSLIVE Season 1 and PSMEGA Season 1, is scheduled to start on June 30th at the Hippodrome Casino in London. A few events are to be featured over the series, ending on July 2nd.
