Live Poker Tournaments to Kick Off in the UK and Ireland in February 2018

February 2018 starts with a lot of excitement for the world of poker, with a large range of live poker tournaments that are to be available to players in the UK and Ireland.

Local poker lovers are to get access to a variety of buy-ins and prizes, with a number of live tournaments and events waiting for them to join. The great array of festivals across the territory of the UK and Ireland is to provide players with different bankrolls with the opportunity to try their luck in some of the most excitement poker tournaments this year.

Grosvenor UK Poker Tour

The first major live poker event in the UK already started, with the first leg of this year’s edition of the Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) kicking off on January 28th. The series is to be held until February 4th at London’s The Poker Room.

Leg 1 of the GUKPT’s 2018 edition started with a Mini Main Event, which is to offer a guaranteed prize pool of £20,000 with unlimited re-entry option. The Mini Main was held as a two-day event. The beginning of the series also brought the NLHE Turbo, the NLHE Bounty event as well as a satellite to the Main Event.

A number of other tournaments are to also be available to players over the first leg of the series, with the Main Event undoubtedly being one of the most-expected ones. It starts today as a three day-event, offering a buy-in of £1,100 as well as a guaranteed prize estimated to £200,000. Unlimited re-entry option is also available.

Other live poker events available during the GUKPT series at The Poker Room, are the £165 Omaha 4/5/6, the £110 Turbo Bounty event, as well as two regular No Limit Hold’em events offering buy-ins of £275 and £110, respectively.

In addition, Leg 2 of the series is also to be held in February, starting on February 25th until March 4th. GUKPT Season 12 Leg to is to be hosted at Manchester’s Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road, with the same range of events as in the first leg offered to players.

Grosvenor 25/25 Series

February 2018 is to see four events of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series kick off.

The first two events of the series are to be held from February 8th to 11th at the Grosvenor G-branded casinos in Luton and Sheffield. The other two events of the Grosvenor 25/25 Series are to take place at the Grosvenor Casino in Cardiff and at the Grosvenor G Casino in Stockton from February 15th to 18th.

All four events are offering a £225 buy-in, plus a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000. They are also set to be held as two-day events with four starting flights, with Day 1As to take place online at Grosvenor poker website.

888poker Live Kick Off 2018

This February, the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford in London is to become home to the 888poker Live Kick Off 2018 which is to be held as part of 888 Season 2018. The live poker event of the series are to take place from February 8th to 11th in two game days, offering four starting flights and buy-in of £440. In addition, players who join the event, are to be given a two re-entry option.

UK Poker Championships 2018

The UK Poker Championships series is to be held as part of the PPL Season 1 at the Disk Till Dawn casino in Nottingham. The series is to take place from February 7th to 25th, with a number of exciting events to be offered to players.

The live poker tournament is to begin with the NLHE Open event, offering a £220 buy-in and guaranteed prize pool of £200,000. The £550 buy-in Warm Up event set to be held next, offering the same guaranteed prize, followed by the Super High Roller event. The latter features a buy-in estimated to £5,300 and a guaranteed prize pool of £200,000.

Probably one of the most-awaited events of the entire tournament is the Main Event, which is to be held in two gaming days with four starting flights featuring buy-in of £1,100. Players who join the Main Event are to be competing for the £1,000,000 guaranteed prize pool.

PokerStars Megastack London

PSMEGA Season 2 and PSLIVE Season 2018 are to be represented by the PokerStars Megastack London series that is to be hosted at the Hippodrome casino in London from February 23rd to 25th.

A Main Event of the series is to be offered, with four starting flights at the cost of £170. A high roller event is also to be featured, as well as the £110 NLHE Cheap and Deep.

Other Live Poker Tournaments in February

Apart from the largest live poker series, a number of other events are to be available this February in the UK and Ireland. First, it is the APAT UK Team Poker Championship which is to be held at the Grosvenor G Casino in Blackpool from February 2nd to 4th.

Three One Day Special events are to be held this month at Luton’s Grosvenor G Casino, with the first one of them being hosted on February 4th. The next one is to kick off on February 18th, followed by the third on February 25th. A Monthly 1K Special event is to also be available at The Poker Room in London on February 12th.

This month will also see a number of £40 buy-in satellites for February 888 LAC in the period from February 5th to 8th at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford. Then, the London Deepstack event is to take place at London’s Poker Room from February 15th to 18th. On the next day, February 19th, the casino is to become home to the Unibet Open London 2018 as part of this year’s season of UO.

Last but not least, UK and Irish poker lovers are to be able to join the Monthly 8-Max event on February 26th. The £550 buy-in event is to take place at The Poker Room in London.
