Live Poker Tournaments Set to Start in the UK and Ireland in December 2018

The last month of 2018 has started only recently, with a lot of excitement and variety at the live poker tournaments arena.

In December, all poker enthusiasts in the UK and Ireland will be able to enjoy a number of live poker events, featuring different buy-ins, structures and prize pools. A number of iconic locations across the UK, including The Poker Room, which was formerly known as The Vic, are to host the events and provide all players with excellent gaming experience.

Grosvenor 25/25 Series

After the Grosvenor 25/25 Series in Manchester was brought to an end yesterday, December will offer all fans of the series two more opportunities to take part in the exciting gameplay by the end of the year.

From December 5th to 9th, the Grosvenor 25/25 Series is to be held both in Reading and Edinburgh, at the Grosvenor G Casino and the Grosvenor Maybury Casino, respectively.

Both locations will offer the traditional £225 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event of the series, with four starting flights and a second game day. The event also offers a guaranteed prize pool which is worth £25,000.

partypoker Live Series

The Dusk Till Dawn casino in Nottingham will host the partypoker Live Series, which is taking place as part of the PPL Season 2, from December 9th to 16th.

The Main Event of the series will offer two online day 1s, which are to be held on December 9th and 12th, respectively. The regular three starting flights of the Main Event will take place from December 14th to 16th, followed by the Final Day of the event. Players who decide to join the tournament, will be able to participate in a number of other live poker events, too, including the Pot Limit Omaha, the NLHE 6 Max, the NLHE High Roller, etc.

2018 Genting Poker Series Main

Leg 18 of this year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series Main will also be held in December, with the Genting Casino Luton set to host the tournament from December 10th to 16th.

After a £46 satellite to the Main Event and a £90 NLHE Super Seventy event, the series will see its Main Event start on December 12th. The three starting flights will cost £440, and the event will offer two more game days and a massive £100,000 guarantee prize pool.

Apart from that, a £220 NLHE Luton Masters event will be held on December 16th.

Other Live Poker Tournaments in the UK and Ireland in December

Today is the last day of the 888poker LIVE London series which has been taking place at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford since November 22nd. The series, which has been offering a variety of live poker events, will see the Final Day of the £1,100 buy-in 888 London Main Event kick off at 2:00 PM on December 3rd. The £5,000 Super High Roller event will also have its Final Day today, starting at 4:00 PM.

The beginning of the month also witnessed the final two days of the 2018 GCOOP III, which took place at Walsall-based Grosvenor Casino from November 25th to December 2nd. All poker lovers were given the chance to try their skills and luck in a great variety of live poker events offering different buy-ins and guarantees.

The Manchester235 casino will become home to the Unibet UK Poker Tour 2018 in the period from December 7th and 9th. The Series offers poker enthusiasts to join a No Limit Hold’em event in return to a buy-in of £220. The guaranteed prize pool featured by the event amounts to £40,000.

Manchester-based Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road will host the APAT UK & Ireland Championship of Amateur Poker from December 14th to 16th. Several events will kick off in the period, providing amateur poker players with the chance to try their skills and luck in all-time favourites at affordable buy-ins.

The last days of December will see the iconic Poker Room in London become home to The London Deepstack. The NLHE event will begin with three day 1s, followed by a second day and will be held between December 20th and 23rd.
