Byron Kaverman Remains 3rd in GPI Ranking for Another Week

US poker player Byron Kaverman maintained his third position in the latest Global Poker Index (GPI) update. He is ranked right after Fedor Holz who has been occupying the first place for eleven weeks now, and Nick Petrangelo, who got second.

The 29-year-old Kaverman, who generated his first live-event cash eight years ago, has live bet earnings estimated to $727,860. His all-time earnings so far amount to $7,809,310. The US player, who lives in Ohio, had a wonderful performance over the first three years of his professional poker player career.

After starting to play poker in 2005, he managed to cash thirteen times and made it to a total of eight final tables. He also emerged victorious from one event and cashed at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) a total of three times.

In 2016, Byron Kaverman took part in several poker tournaments and events. The last tournament he attended was the EPT-13-ESPT-7-Barcelona. Kaverman took part in the €10,300 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event that took place from August 17th to 19th and ranked at the 14th out of a total of 195 entries.

On August 7th, he entered the $25,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event of the Aria High Roller 39 and won it, taking home an overall prize of $276,000. Two days earlier – on August 5th, he won the Aria High Roller 38 $25,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event, getting a massive prize of $226,227. Earlier in 2016 Kaverman participated in another high-roller event of the Aria High Roller series that take part at the Aria Resort & Casino. He occupied the runner-up position and got a prize of $256,785.

From July 14th to 18th, the 29-year-old player entered the Bellagio Cup XII $10,400 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em event and got 10th. Earlier that month he also participated in the 47th edition of the WSOP, entering the $5,000 No Limit Hold’em vent and ranked 30th.

At the beginning of May 2016 Byron Kaverman took part in another high-roller event. He went to the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort to participate in the No Limit Hold’em event of EPT-12-FPS-6-Grand Final and got 13th. In March this year, the US player ranked second in the WPT Bay 101 Shooting Star $25,000 Buy-in No Limit Hold’em High Roller Event.
