Phil Galfond to Establish Real Money Poker Website in 2017

The American professional poker player Phil Galfond, known for his preference for high-stakes games, has made an official announcement that he is to establish an online poker website which will allow real-money play. The new poker brand will be opened up via Galfond’s own training site called RunItOnce.com.

Galfond is one of the most popular high-roller players to date. Over the last decade, he has been known for generating overall earnings as both a professional and a trainer through his current website. In addition, more than $2 million have been generated by the American in live tournament earnings. Galfond is a winner of two World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets. He has also cashed in a number of the most prestigious live tournaments and online poker games.

The 31-year-old American has also become popular for his extensive knowledge of the poker game as a whole. Considering the fact that he is not only a professional poker pro but an online trainer as well, it would be interesting to see if he would manage to create a successful and sustainable poker brand or not.

The player made his intentions public via a blog post in his website, but the details of the new brand’s launch were sparse. Still, the announcement posted by Galfond was primarily aimed at his promise to establish and maintain another online-based poker operator.

The news poker brand announced is expected to go live over the first quarter of 2017 as it became clear of the player’s blog post.

The 31-year-old high-roller wrote that in his opinion a poker-oriented website should not be focused on what poker had been half a decade or a decade ago. According to him, a sustainable policy in the current economy conditions should be followed, so a poker website should be made in a way that allows it to adapt to the situation.

Galfond also promised that the future poker website he would launch would put its customers as a paramount priority, regardless if they are professional players or amateurs. In addition, he put transparency, honesty and fairness as the major pillars of the new poker brand.
