Grand Prix Poker Tour Returns to Dusk Till Dawn

The Grand Prix Poker Tour (GPPT) of partypoker has already kicked off, but the most interesting part of the tournament, including the £250,000 Grand Prix Poker Tour Finale is yet to begin.

Since the GVC Holdings’ partypoker brand has first launched the Grand Prix Poker Tour in the UK, the latter has attracted a great number of players, including poker pros and recreational players primarily due to the low buy-ins and substantial guaranteed prize pools.

In the middle of October, the Grand Prix Poker Tour has returned home to the Disk Till Dawn casino venue in Nottingham to close the circle. What is found particularly attractive about the tournament is the fact that players are allowed to enter as many Day 1s as they like, but it is only their largest stack of chips that is taken through to Day 2 in case that they proceed to Day 2 more than once.

In addition, players are also given the opportunity to enter directly the Day 2 by paying a £550 buy-in. Such players will be granted with a total of 200,000 chips in return to their buy-in fee. In comparison, players who proceed to Day 2 after they have taken part in the Day 1 competition will have 30,000 chips at their disposal.

On October 14th, players can enjoy entering not one, but two Grand Prix Live Day 1s, which feature a £85 buy-in as well as a guaranteed prize amounting to £250,000. They will start in 5:00 PM and 8:00 PM, respectively, at the Dusk Till Dawn casino venue. In addition, there will also be two Grand Prix Online Day 1s, featuring the same guaranteed prize pool as well as a buy-in of £109. They will be available to all players who would like to join them in 7:00 PM and 9:00 PM, respectively, on the partypoker website.

Saturday, October 15th, is to feature almost the same schedule of events, except for an additional Live Day 1 that is to start at 1:00 PM at the Dusk Till Dawn casino. The Grand Prix Final Day, or the Live tournament Day 2 is to start at 12:00 PM on October 16th. There will also be another event on the same day – the MILLIONS Live Day 1, which features a buy-in of £550. The guaranteed prize pool amounts to £5 million, of which £1 million is reserved for the eventual champion. The event will start at 3:00 PM on Sunday.
