partypoker Appoints Sam Trickett as Brand Ambassador

The British professional poker player Sam Trickett has been appointed as an ambassador by the GBV Holdings’ online poker brand partypoker. The player is the latest addition to partypoker’s star-team of professional poker players and ambassadors and is expected to represent the brand during its global events in 2017.

The brand also plans to soon release the “Trickett’s Cash Games” on its website, which will feature invite-only high stakes events.

Tom Waters, Group Head of partypoker said described the new appointment as a proof of the great qualities and success of partypoker and shared his opinion that Sam Trickett would be a great addition to the brand’s team.

The 30-year-old Trickett is considered as one of the most successful contemporary UK poker professionals. So far, he has managed to win over $20 million in live tournament cashes. He has also won a considerable amount of money in some of the most popular cash games and tournaments on a global scale.

Currently, the player has a number of impressive achievements. Eight years he finished at the fourth position in a WSOP $5,000 Buy-in No-Limit Hold’em Event, and a series of excellent performances followed. Only several months later, he managed to bring down the £1,060 Buy-in Grosvenor UK Poker Tour Luton Main Event.

Since 2010, the British poker professional has emerged victorious from a number of poker events such as the $10,000 partypoker World Open, a couple of Aussie Millions events, the €8,500 Partouche Poker Tour, etc. He also ended as a runner-up in several other events, including the 2010 WSOP $5,000 No-Limit Hold’Em Event, the A$250,000 Super High Roller event at the 2011 Aussie Millions and in the partypoker Premier League.

Sam Trickett himself commented on his appointment as a brand ambassador, saying he was proud to be joining the constantly expanding team of partypoker and would gladly represent the brand at global poker events. He also shared his excitement with the new direction taken by the company.

Trickett revealed that he would bring monthly high stakes game on the Internet, which would be available for partypoker players and fans of the game. He added that he would plan his live events schedule for the upcoming year over the next few weeks and said he was really impatient to get back to the tournament circuit as part of the partypoker team of ambassadors.
