Unibet Rolls Out New Poker Client on December 1st

The Poker brand of Malta-based online gambling operator Unibet is to roll out its new software called Unibet Poker 2.0 on December 1st, 2016. The second generation of the company’s award-winning software is to be available in all regulated markets on desktop, tablet and mobile devices.

Two years ago, in February 2014 the brand launched its own independent poker network enabled by Relax Gaming and decided to give up from the Poker Network provided by Microgaming.

The Head of Poker division at Unibet – Andrew West – commented on the upcoming release, saying that the first generation of the product has been overhauled in order to provide the company with safe and reliable foundation upon which the brand would be able to add various features to enhance player’s experience. He also said that the company’s team was looking forward to getting feedback on Unibet Poker 2.0 and shared his hopes that that the brand’s customers would see its potential for the upcoming years.

Now Unibet is to provide customers worldwide with the new version of its software, called Unibet Poker 2.0. The online gambling operator offered a small glance at its new software at the end of August 2016, when the Unibet Open Copenhagen took place. After that, the company shared that closed beta tests had have been run on the software among a group of players in order for them to make sure that there were no problems with the program and it ran smoothly.

The new version of the Unibet Poker software is planned to be available on desktop and mobile devices, including tablets and smartphones. It is planned to include some different features compared to the previous version, such as improved graphics and upgraded hand history re-player. There will also be a special loyalty scheme offering a variety of missions and an option that allows players to play at several tables at the same time. New gaming features are also planned to be implemented in the future in order for the brand to improve the customer’s experience.

One of the major differences of the new software’s version is the fact that it was built primarily on a HTML5 platform, unlike the first version of Unibet Poker, which ran on Adobe Air. This migration is supposed to lessen the number of crashes which had been happening on the original version of the software.

In order to celebrate the roll-out, the Unibet Poker division is also running the largest promotion in its history, called “Around the World”. The campaign offers a major prize of a 28-day trip for two to the Seven Wonders of the World, and a great variety of other prizes, totalling more than €250,000.
