Live Poker Tournaments Set to Start in UK and Ireland in April 2017

With April knocking on the door, poker fans across the UK and Ireland would be given the chance to access a great variety of poker tournaments featuring a variety of buy-ins and guaranteed prize pools.

A number of tournaments that are scheduled to end in the first days of April have already started a few days ago, including the Leg 3 of the 2017 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour – GUKPT Edinburgh, as well as Leg 4 and 5 of this year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series Mini.

Today, on March 31st, the London’s Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford is to become home to the Aspers Second Chance Special. The three-day tournament, which is to end of April 2nd, offers two regular NLHE events featuring a buy-in of £110, as well as a £30 buy-in No Limit Hold’em – Second Chance Special.

Then, the first week of April will see a number of other tournaments, starting with two Grosvenor 25/25 Series, one in Southend and one in Bolton. Both events will be held from April 6th to 9th, with the first one to be hosted at the Grosvenor Casino, Southend and the other held at the Grosvenor G Casino, Bolton. Of course, April would also see a Mini 25/25 start, with the event set to kick off at the Grosvenor G Casino in Luton on April 27th. It is to offer three starting flights with a £170 cost, as well as a guaranteed prize pool of £25,000.

Then, at the same period other two events will be held. Londoners will be able to enjoy the 888 Max Poker Event – a £110 buy-in No Limit Hold’em event featuring two starting flights and a guaranteed prize pool estimated to £28,000. The event is to be held at the Aspers Casino Westfield Stratford, London and is part of the 888 Season 2017. The other event is the Supernova Festival that is to be hosted at the Genting Casino Blackpool from April 6th to 9th.

April 7th will see the PokerStars Megastacs London kicking off at the Hippodrome Casino. The tournament offers a Megastack event with a buy-in of £170, £330 Megastack High Roller and a £110 No Limit Hold’em Cheap & Deep.

Also, poker lovers in the UK and Ireland will see two partypoker Millions events in April. The first one is to be held at Victoria Gate Casino, Leeds on 8 April, and the other – at Manchester235 on April 15th.

The 10th Anniversary Season of the World Championship of Amateur Poker (WCOAP) is to see a tournament within April 8th and April 17th at the Grosvenor Casino Bury New Road in Manchester. A great variety of events will be featured by the Championship. Also in April, the residents of UK and Ireland will be able to join another exclusive event – the 4th Special April Tournament, which is to be held in the six-day period between April 12th and 17th at the Grosvenor G Casino in Luton. And on April 23rd a surprise awaits for the local players, as they will be given the chance to join April 2nd Tournament at the Grosvenor G Casino, Luton.

Aspers Casino Westfiel Stratford in London is one of the most common venues which host large poker tournaments all year long. It is to host the 888Live Easter Edition from April 13th to 17th, too. The Genting Casino Torquay, on the other hand, will host the special Easter Tournament from April 14th to 16th. Another special event – the April One Day Special is scheduled to start at the Grosvenor G Casino in Luton on April 17th.

British poker lovers could also join the UK Student Poker Championships (UKSPC), with the series being scheduled for April 19th to 23rd at the Grosvenor G Casino in Coventry. Of course, April will see one of the most-loved and popular events among local poker players – The London Deepstack with a number of flights and a final day available from April 20th to 23rd at The Poker Room formerly The Vic, London.

Of course, one of the largest tournaments will be also held in April. The upcoming month is to see Leg 4, Walsall of the 2017 Grosvenor UK Poker Tour (GUKPT) start at the Grosvenor Casino on April 23rd. Another very popular Series – this year’s edition of the Genting Poker Series Mini – Leg 6, is to be held at the end of April, with the events being set to start on April 24th at the Genting Casino Glasgow.

Last, but not least, British and Irish players would be able to enjoy the Monthly Special event at the Grosvenor G Casino in Reading on April 2017. The event offers a buy-in estimated to £110 and a guaranteed prize pool of £10,000.
